The Grassland Research Lab (NUPEP) was founded in 2009 by André Sbrissia, Professor of Pastoral Science at the Santa Catarina State University (UDESC - CAV), Lages Campus.

 

Our team is dedicated to advancing the field of pastoral studies through high-quality, independent research. We develop experimental protocols to address scientific gaps and test hypotheses, with a particular focus on grassland ecosystems. By conducting rigorous research, we aim to better understand the complex interactions between plants, animals, and the environment. Our ultimate goal is to contribute to the development of sustainable pastoral practices that promote biodiversity and ecosystem health.
